LIMITED TIME – Please Read Important Background:

Joust plastics supersets have been marked ‘Out Of Stock’ for a very long time here. The reason for that was absence of the apron pieces. Our problem was that we had about a dozen apron pairs get their arm-tips smashed from shipping damage, when ALL the apron pairs from the re-run years ago were coming back from their heat-bending in the USA. We could only sell sets up until the last pair of aprons was taken. Then the “superset” was incomplete, and most weren’t interested in new Joust plastics without having shiny new aprons to match. So we marked Joust plastics ‘Out of Stock’

The September 2025 update is we dragged out all those damaged apron pairs… and figured out a way to place them in a custom-made jig in the laser CNC to re-cut new ends on the arm-tips. OF COURSE, this is a compromise. It saves these apron pairs, as their smashed tips have been neatly cut fresh. BUT with the jagged snapped-off areas removed, this SHORTENS the original ‘arm’ length of the aprons. Since this is truly cosmetic, and the rest of the apron bodies are fantastic – we felt it was better for Joust plastics supersets to be available, than throwing all these aprons away. Re-running & bending more was not feasible – as these sets barely sell a few a year. So we have marked Joust plastics back IN STOCK for now. A dozen sets remain. The aprons simply won’t “reach as far” up the rail. Just make a new screw hole (and fill the other one). Please see gallery photos to make your decision if this alteration is acceptable to you.

In lieu of this compromise – we are discounting these remaining supersets by $70, until they are gone.

This is a head-to-head game where two players at opposite ends of the playfield compete in simultaneous play. Each player has flipper buttons which control only those flippers facing the opponent. Play begins by one player pressing the flipper buttons.

Notes:

Originally named ‘Conflict’. The ‘Joust’ name was used for a video game released in 1981.

The game pictured in the flyer has an apron colored blue and red. The ends of its legs are squared off. We do not know how many games left the factory with these features, as most of the games we see have black and red aprons, with legs rounded at the ends.

Pictured in this listing is an Early Production game with serial number XP0223. It has the blue/red apron and squared legs.

Also included in this listing is a pictorial comparison of two games from Quebec, Canada having several production differences between them. For ease of comparison, we have arbitrarily assigned them as Game ‘A’ and Game ‘B’ without trying to suggest which game was made first. Game play is slightly different from each other: Just before the last 30-second unlimited ball mode starts, one game has all lights go out (including GI’s), while the other game has only the insert lights going out for about 5 seconds before the unlimited ball mode starts.
